Whether an object is transparent, reflective, shiny, textured or smooth, there is a way to communicate these qualities through paint and color. This in person workshop will focus on strategies for conveying the specific character of an object, learning what elements are critical to perceive and record and what areas can be generalized. We will use the still life as a vehicle to explore these approaches.
